An excellent nickel mounted pernambuco bow by Charles Nicolas Bazin, in the style of Tourte and stamped Tourte on the stick below the frog. In very good condition with just the smallest of imperfections, the frog is a good snug fit to the stick, original in all of its principle parts. Finished in a dark red/brown patina, just rehaired and with new lapping and leather, circa 1890. Another fine example of the work of Charles Nicolas Bazin. These bows are rising rapidly in price!
