A well made Amati copy with character and an excellent tone, possibly from the Laberte-Humbert atelier, circa 1925. The condition is very good, just minor marks to the varnish. The length of the two piece back is: 14 inches (356 mm.) Rosewood pegs with an ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, Pro-Arte strings, and the violin is supplied in a new lightweight case. A violin with a deep sweet tone, typical of the Amati models due to the increase in internal volume. Recommended!
