A photo of the label:
A good quality violin from the J.Thibouville-Lamy workshops, a Sarasate Elève model dating from around 1925. Labelled as an Amati copy and stamped Sarasate EL on the button. In excellent condition with just very minor varnish blemishes, The Sarasate Elève quality were extremely well made and have developed a very nice warm clear tone over the years. The back measurement is 357 mm. Set up with Pro-Arte strings, new ebony fittings and original rosewood pegs and supplied in a new case. A nice warm clear tone with good volume and balance. Recommended!
