A beautiful silver mounted bow by Charles Marcel Lapierre. The stick is pernambuco and of a rich dark caramel colour. A very artistic maker, he initially trained with Thibouville-Lamy, then went on to work for F.Lotte, Louis Bazin and Morizot before setting up his own workshops. This bow was made around 1960. In lovely condition with just very minor imperfections. A really nice quality bow.
