Balance point from tip of winder - 248 mm.
A fine nickel mounted pernambuco bow made by Emile François Ouchard Père. Signed Emile Ouchard on the stick below the frog, authentic in all of it's principle parts, a strong stick with good balance, finished in a dark brown patina, a great players bow! In excellent condition, just one tiny chip to the corner of the underslide but otherwise near perfect. This is a fine bow to play with, another example of this great makers work which was made around 1930. Recently rehaired. A fine bow!
Overseas buyers please note: Due to a change in CITES regulations from March 2026, bows which have pernambuco sticks need a CITES export permit. Payment for the bow must be completed in full before we apply for the permit and there may be some delay before we can ship. You may need to arrange an import CITES permit into your own country.
