A photo of the label:
An excellent quality well made Mirecourt Breton violin in very nice original condition. Probably from the Marc Laberte workshops who continued the Breton model after F. Breton, please note! the date is around 1920, the 1821 is an acknowledgment to the original F.Breton. The only imperfections are very minor varnish marks, finished in a lovely sunshine warm patina. The back measurement is: 356 mm. Setup with ebony fittings, Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a new case. Breton violins always have a balanced warm sweet tone with good volume. A nice honest violin!
