A photo of the label:
A Nicolas Bertholini violin, they are well made violins with a balanced tone, sonorous base and good volume, always pre-dated to 1810 but actually made between 1910 and 1930. The length of the back is 359 mm. In beautiful condition with minimal imperfections. Set up with Wittner Finetune pegs and a rosewood tailpiece and chinrest. Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. An instrument with a strong resonant tone and good volume. A real pleasure to play!
