A fine silver mounted pernambuco bow by J.Thibouville-Lamy, Sarasate Virtuose model. These bows are rapidly rising in price and are becoming extremely difficult to find. This example has a strong slender stick in a mid chocolate patina, it is stamped on the stick below the frog Sarasate Virtuoseand Sarasateon the ferrule. The condition is as near to mint as you can get, the bow was made around 1940. Recommended for player and collector!
