An unusual Maggini copy in that it is standard size, many of them are long in the body. The two piece back length is: 14.1/8 inches long (358 mm) The condition is very good, there are no repairs just some small varnish marks and dings. This is a well made violin with double purfling in the Maggini style. Set up with good quality Rosewood fittings, Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. A very pleasant sounding violin, with a warm sonorous tone, nicely balanced and with good volume. Good value and a pleasure to play!
