An excellent quality violin from a well know and respected workshops, Laberte-Humbert. In very good condition, without damage or repairs just minor varnish imperfections. Made from selected woods, set up with rosewood and ebony fittings and Dominant strings. The violin carries an Henry & Arnaud label, which was the label of the firm founded by Octave HENRY in Grenoble in the 1850s and continued by his son Adrien. The violin is dated 1912. The length of the back is 359 mm. This is a violin with a nice balanced tone with good projection and ample volume. A good instrument, recommended!
