A photo of the label:
A good violin from a well known maker, many of the Clotelle violins were made in the Laberte- Humbert workshops as with this example. In nice clean condition, no damage or repairs, just varnish marks. The length of the back is 360 mm. Fitted with ebony fittings, Pro- Arte strings and supplied in a new lightweight case, made around 1925. A violin with a warm balanced tone, they always sound very good considering their low price. Excellent value!
