A very nice quality Maggini copy probably made in the Laberet-Humbert workshops. The back length is: 356 mm. so a perfect size. The condition is exceptional, there are no repairs just very minor varnish blemishes. This is a well made violin with double purfling in the Maggini style and a fine figure to the two piece back. Set up with good quality rosewood fittings, Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a lightweight case. A fine rich sonorous tone, nicely balanced and with good volume. A nice quality instrument!
