A violin of the Borelli school labelled Andreas Borelli, 1720. These instruments were made by some of the many Mirecourt workshops, this example circa 1920. In good sound condition without repairs, but quite a lot of varnish imperfections and wear. The two piece back measures 359 mm. The !ttings are in rosewood, new Pro-Arte strings and the violin is supplied in a lightweight case. An instrument with a warm balanced sound and with good volume.
