With a West Country Violins certificate.
This fine instrument is a Justin Derazey copy from the Laberte-Humbert atelier, made around the time that Marc Laberte aquired the Honoré DERAZEY and Justin DERAZEY names and brands in 1927. He had an extensive collection of French and Italian violins from which he made accurate copies of which this violin is an example. In excellent condition, just minor varnish imperfections, with a two piece back of strong flamed maple 360 mm in length, stamped below the tailpin J.Derazey. Well made with fine attention to detail, set up with Dominant strings and supplied in a new case. A lovely violin with a rich full tone. Recommended!
